What happens at the cochlear implant assessment?
Answer:
You will be given tests that will check, among other things, your:
- General health
- Ears and hearing
- Lip-reading and communication skills
- Inner ear, using CT (computerised tomography) and/or MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans
- Balance and vision
