What should I do if I get something in my eye when wearing contact lenses?
Close your eyes and blink several times - this should shift any debris to the margins of your eyelids and out of your eye.
If you still feel like there's something in your eye, wash your hands, remove the lens and remove the foreign body from your eye in the usual way.
Rinse your lens thoroughly in the contact lens care solution provided before putting it back into your eye.
