Help and frequently asked questions

I have recently been for an eye examination when I said I’d like to wear contact lenses but my optician has asked me back again for another appointment, should I be worried?

Answer:

It's normal to have two different appointments.

The initial exam would be to check the health of your eyes as well as establish whether or not you need spectacles/contact lenses.

The contact lens check is different; although the optician re-establishes your prescription, he also identifies whether or not you are suitable for contact lenses and if so what sort of contact lenses would be best for your lifestyle.
